GradeCracker was started by two people who know tutoring from both sides of the screen.
“We wanted to put everything that worked for us in one place.”

Between the two of us, we spent more than fifteen years being tutored, online and in person. We had brilliant tutors who changed how we saw a subject, and others who just filled an hour. We learned the difference early.
Then we became tutors ourselves, and spent more than four years teaching students. From the other side of the screen we saw the same thing: the students who thrived had a tutor who was the right fit, a clear plan, and someone keeping an eye on whether it was working.
Too often, families had to piece that together themselves. So we stepped back from teaching to build GradeCracker: one service that brings all of those benefits together, with a team of experienced tutors we choose and support. Careful matching. Lessons with structure. A progress tracker that makes sure every child is moving forward.
We started this because we love watching it click. That moment when a student who was “bad at maths” realises they aren’t. Our goal is simple: to see every child we work with reach their full potential.

Those values matter to us. GradeCracker was founded on hard work and integrity, and we put the families we work with first in everything we do. Along the way, we have been helped by small businesses that share that approach, and we would like to return the favour.
